Great costumes again this year from all classes!
Physical Science students are studying the models of the atom. The flame test experiment uses different salts with energized electrons that produce different colors of light. These 9th graders had a great time mixing colors!

It is the season for food labs in advanced chemistry. The seniors made ceviche by denaturing the proteins in tuna with lime juice. They determined it was a successful and tasty lab!
The Kindergarten and Junior classes had fun being creative to decorate pumpkins together this afternoon! Just in time for Halloween!
Several Juniors and Seniors met with BSC today! Did you know they have programs that provide certification in some areas in as few as 8 credits and also work with DSU and MSU to provide 4 yr degrees? Lots happening for students at BSC!
This week's Weekly PE Winners! Congrats to these kiddos for always showing good sportsmanship, great effort, and a postivie attitude during PE Class!
6th grade Dewey Decimal System center activities in Library today!
Advanced Chemistry denatured proteins in their biochemistry unit. They used a mathematical formula to calculate the time needed to cook the egg to the perfect temperature.
Quiet Club was busy this morning! Kudos to our students for using the time to take Accelerated Reader quizzes, finish homework, read, and start the morning with some coloring together!
The Sophomores and 2nd graders used their creativity during their Comet Connections making monsters!
