
The junior high agriculture students finished their foot stools and are bringing them home!



The Senior English class held a Thanksgiving storytime at the Underwood Public Library this week. Children enjoyed reading with them and making hand turkeys! Our next storytime will be held on Wednesday, December 11th at 10:30 - please join us!







Communication is key! 6th grade is working on listening, following directions, and verbal/ non- verbal messages. 8th graders are focusing on messaging, writing for an audience, and tone. Students have laughed a lot and learned that listening is a true skill! Stay tuned for some great social stories about recess and playground expectations!





FBLA members had the opportunity to learn about accounting careers and what accountants do from Katelyn with the ND CPA Society! Thank you Katelyn for stopping in and sharing with our students!

Online presented by the Bureau of Criminal Investigations and local agencies!
FREE Chili dinner served from 5:30-6:00pm. Presentation from 6-7:30. Underwood and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend! Students in 7th grade and above are welcome to attend too with an adult.


Congratulations to Hayden Bassett for being selected to the 2025 NDACDA Middle School Honor Mixed Choir!
This festival is equivalent to an All State for grades 7-9. Students from both Class A and B schools from the entire state sent in auditions in early October. They will travel to Fargo February 7-8 where they will rehearse with guest conductors, and conclude with a concert at Fargo North HS. This year there were 495 auditions sent in from 53 schools. There are a total of 190 singers chosen for the Honor Choirs. Congratulations to Hayden for being selected!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Veteran's Day yesterday! Thank you Veterans for your service to our country! I tasked the high school students to send me a few pics of veterans that they know. Thanks again!

The Senior Government and English class students toured the North Dakota State Library and sat in on a ND Supreme Court case today. We were able to visit with Justice McEvers beforehand, as well.



Officer Frank was the guest reader today in Library! He read his favorite picture book and shared what he was thankful for to the PreK class!
