FBLA delivered breakfast to the Underwood staff this morning! The FBLA chapter wants to send a big thank you to all of our staff here at Underwood! Thank you for all that you do for our school!


These 7th & 8th graders competed in the Math Counts contest today at Washburn. Jayden and Noah placed in the top
25% of the participants.



Today FBLA kicked off their Madness Free Throw contest! Between high school staff and grades 7-12 we have 50 participants! Round 1 was completed today and we will shoot round 2 next week!
We also had lots of jerseys and teams fill the school today for Jersey day!







Students who wish to attend the Girls District Basketball tournament in Washburn on Friday can dismiss at 2:30. Parents must call the office if they are going to attend. Thanks

Congratulations Reagan! Reagan was named to the 2025 North Dakota Class B Academic All State Honorable Mention Team!
The North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals is excited to announce that the 2025 North Dakota Academic All-State Teams have been selected. Two hundred ten high school seniors were nominated by their school principal and competed for statewide honor in the Class AA, A, and B divisions. Student selection is based on grade-point averages, ACT or SAT scores, extracurricular activities, community involvement, and leadership qualities.

LAST CALL! Valentine Orders are DUE tomorrow, February 11th. These can be purchased by anyone, not just parents and students. New this year: Traveling Valentines can be sent to staff and students in Turtle Lake, as well, and vice versa - please see the form attached! Thank you for sharing the love and supporting the Class of 2026!


Reminder: We have added a C-Squad Boys Basketball game against Washburn. It will occur tonight, February 10th, at 6:00 PM in Underwood.
Congratulations to these students from Underwood who performed at the NDACDA conference in Fargo last weekend. Hayden was selected by audition to sing in the Mid Level All-State Mixed Choir. Gracie, Maycie, and Jillian participated in the SSAA High School/Collegiate Honor Choir.

Summer jobs for 9th - 12th graders and scholarships for seniors have been updated ! Encourage your student to check out the bulletin board by the counselor's office and the scholarship document for all the details!


Reminder: Valentine's Gift bundles are still for sale! Extra order forms are in the office! The Junior class will take orders until Tuesday, February 11th!

2nd graders are growing in kindness this month! They collaborated while brainstorming ( who doesn't like to write on tables!😉)and sharing ideas of how kindness makes their day brighter!



Good afternoon! Treasure Maps went home yesterday with elementary students for the Book Blast event we are offering this month. Students can receive up to 10 books they get to keep from donations given through the program. Prize drawings for completing the Treasure Map start tomorrow! Participation is completely optional. If you do not have a student but would like to donate towards them receiving books, you may do so by scanning the QR code on the Contribution flyer. Thank you for supporting our students!
