Happy Reading Month! Our theme this year is "Be a Super Reader!" There are Dr. Seuss dress-up days this week, along with other dress-up days and events throughout the month. Students can also complete two BINGOs on a BINGO sheet that went home to earn a Super Reader cape!

Spring sports are just around the corner! Track begins Monday, March 4th in Underwood. Baseball, softball, elementary boys' basketball, and elementary volleyball all begin Monday, March 18th. Boys Golf begins April 8th. Students in grades 5-12 need a sports physical and need to have activity fees paid. 👟⚾️🥎🏀🏐

Attention all!! Tomorrow, we will be doing a send-off for our Cougar GBB Team as they leave for the State Tournament in Jamestown. They will be leaving the school around 11:50 - Noon and will be getting an escort down 'Main Street' (Lincoln Avenue). Line the street and show your support as they head out of town!

Candidate Registration
Election Day will be Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
Voters will choose “one” candidate from the “Rural” position now held by Jim LeRoy for a term of “three” years.
Any individual seeking election to the Board of the Underwood School District # 8 must file a Statement of Intent stating the individual’s name and the position for which that individual is a candidate. Candidates must also file a Statement of Interests as required by NDCC 16.1-09-24. These documents must be filed with the school district business manager, Jessica Hoffert, by no later than 4:00 PM on April 8th, 2024, as required by NDCC 15.1-09-24.
Absentee ballots will be available after May 2, 2024.
